This is the route first used by the early expedition’s team to climb Everest from the Nepalese side. After a rest day in Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital, the trail continues to famous Tangboche Monastery. Its setting encircled by giant mountains has been called one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Gokyo Cho la pass trekking is one of the popular and challenging trekking trail in Everest region and one of Nepal's most famous treks to the Khumbu Mountains & Sherpa country. After a magnificent mountain flight to Lukla we follow the Dudh Kosi valley to Namche Bazaar. The trail to Gokyo is a gradual ascent up the valley passing through patches of birch and rhododendron forest where the elusive musk deer can sometimes be seen. Through small yak-grazing settlements we reach the Gokyo lakes where we climb the Gokyo Peak (5480m) and enjoy stunning summit mountain scenery including Everest,
Everest gokyo trekking offers you panoramic mountain views from every destination. Following the famous "Everest Trail," we trek to the prosperous village of Namche Bazaar and onwards, alongside the torrential Imtse Khola, to the high valley below Everest. During the course of this excellent and relatively easy-paced trek, we visit many delightful Sherpa villages, including the stunningly located Thyangboche with its impressive backdrop of Everest and Ama Dablam. we trek over the Chola pass onwards to Gokyo, where we rest for some side treks including a climb of Gokyo Ri for some fantastic views.
